(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter \u201cMDV\u201d) conducted a simulation of hospital management revenues based on the previous fiscal year\u2019s actual results, following the FY2026 medical fee schedule revision (+3.09%). The simulation showed that, while inpatient revenue per facility is expected to increase by JPY 94 million annually for Acute Care General Ward Basic Hospitalization Fees, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.02%, outpatient revenue is expected to decrease by JPY 68 million annually, representing a year-on-year decrease of 2.27%. These findings indicate that hospitals are expected to continue facing a challenging management environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MDV conducted a simulation of hospital revenues in the medical fee revision year, FY2026, based on FY2025 medical care data collected from 692 DPC hospitals that have introduced MDV\u2019s hospital management support system. DPC hospitals are hospitals that use the Diagnosis Procedure Combination system, a comprehensive evaluation method for inpatient medical expenses.<br>According to the simulation, among inpatient categories with relatively large monetary increases, General Ward Basic Hospitalization Fees for Advanced Treatment Hospitals increased by JPY 262 million (+1.59%), Emergency and Critical Care Hospitalization Fees increased by JPY 26 million (+2.84%), and Recovery Rehabilitation Ward Hospitalization Fees increased by JPY 22 million (+4.00%).<br><br>On the other hand, the decline in outpatient revenue was mainly affected by reductions in drug prices. As a result, the importance of cost management, including adjustments to purchase prices, is increasing further in hospital management.<br><br>A similar trend was also observed among fee-for-service hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Medical Fee Revision Analysis Using Real-World Data: DPC Hospitals (n=692)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data collected through MDV&#8217;s &#8220;Reimbursement Revision Simulation Report&#8221;
