Purpose of establishing a committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Group contributes to improving the quality of medical care by making effective use of medical care and health information, and at the same time, by promoting a society in which individuals can grasp their own medical care and health information throughout their lives. We consider creating a society where you can choose services in the healthcare field as a social contribution, and we are working to achieve this vision.<br>Consequently, achieving both the realization of a sustainable society and the enhancement of corporate value is an important element of a company as a member of society, and it is necessary to establish and promote a basic framework that is close to a sustainable society. This committee will be established to achieve such a goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The role of the committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a subordinate organization of the Board of Directors, this committee plans and formulates overall plans, strategies, and measures for the Group&#8217;s sustainability promotion activities, monitors their progress, evaluates their achievements, and regularly publishes the contents to the directors. It shall report and make recommendations to the Board of Directors\u2019 Meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Composition of committee members<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This committee is chaired by the President and Representative Director, and is attended by directors and executive officers of the Company, department managers who supervise risk and compliance, and full-time corporate auditors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Committee composition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a subordinate organization of this committee, we will establish subcommittees to formulate activity policies and monitor each field on important company-wide themes. The subcommittees consist of the following three groups and promotes the Group&#8217;s sustainability measures toward the realization of a sustainable society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cSubcommittee for Environmental Consideration and Achievement of Sustainable Society\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cSubcommittee for the protection and proper use of intellectual property\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cSubcommittee for optimization of Human Resources and Promotion of Diversity\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Role of each subcommittee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cSubcommittee for Environmental Consideration and Achievement of Sustainable Society\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Subcommittee will verify the environmental impact and risks for the Group&#8217;s business activities, regularly check the business opportunities, and promote efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the environmental burden of our business activities. At the same time, the Subcommittee will promote the decision of procurement policy and activities in accordance with the achievement of a sustainable society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cSubcommittee on the protection and proper use of intellectual property\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We will promote the protection and use of intellectual property owned by the Group and the appropriate use of intellectual property owned by outside parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cSubcommittee on Utilization of Human Resources and Promotion of Diversity\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Formulation and operation of policies for the active optimization of the Group&#8217;s human resources.
