Meanwhile, there is a growing need to grasp such large aggregate data to build a better understanding of healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address such needs, MDV has developed a new function in its web tool MDV ANALYZER to allow the extrapolation of the results to the entire Japanese population. This function uses DPC data owned by MDV from a selection of medical institutions, medical receipt data from health insurance associations, and NDB (National Database) to calculate the values at national levels, such as number of patients or number of prescriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the webinar, we intend to present the algorithm that combines the various databases and produces numerical values by extrapolation.
