Start of a new website in English for overseas audienceEBM website name changes from EBM Newsroom to EBM insight

Medical Data Vision Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroyuki Iwasaki; hereinafter “MDV”), which holds the largest domestic medical big data, has revamped the Japanese website of its EBM Division, which promotes data utilization, and will launch an English version of the site for international users. The site’s name will be changed to “MDV EBM insight” (content will be delivered in both Japanese and English).

MDV aims to introduce database services to overseas pharmaceutical companies, healthcare-related companies, and foreign-affiliated pharmaceutical company headquarters. The mission is to address social issues by providing accurate evidence-based medicine (EBM) information to healthcare professionals, academia, researchers, and companies like pharmaceutical and medical device companies. MDV EBM insight promotes the use of medical information based on scientific evidence, contributing to the improvement of medical care quality through the introduction and explanation of the latest information and services available for practicing EBM.

The logo’s inspiration

Our choice for the new site name derived from the meaning of insight as the ability to see into the reality and essence of things.
The two “i’s” symbolize light and candle motifs, with the “light” representing perspective and awareness of things, and the orange “period” at the end meaning “new light of future activities that will be created.” The word “insight” is in small characters to reinforce the impression of flexibility and diversity in the database services that we provide.
