PHR Karteco adds dashboard functionality and begins integration with Google’s Health Connect

Medical Data Vision Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroyuki Iwasaki), which develops and provides Karteco, a PHR (Personal Health Record) system that allows people to manage their own health and medical information throughout their lives, is pleased to announce that it has equipped the Karteco home screen with a dashboard feature that displays numerical values for each vital function.
With Karteco, users can view their own medical records and health checkup results, as well as using AI (artificial intelligence) to predict the risk of developing 34 different diseases based on those results. The system is also equipped with features that use sensing technology (non-contact biometric data acquisition) to measure autonomic nervous system balance, total power, pulse rate, and respiration rate, as well as a “Healthcare” function that allows users to record and store their vital signs and daily health data.
These figures and results can now be viewed on the home screen through the dashboard feature, making it easier for Karteco users to manage their own health condition.
Healthcare” Feature Renewed and Now Linked with Google Health Connect
Measurement results such as steps, weight, and blood pressure can now be displayed in graphs by day, week, or month.
In addition, the Android version of the Karteco app has started integration with Google’s “Health Connect.”
By granting permission to link specific items, measurement data recorded by various apps compatible with Health Connect will be automatically synced with Karteco and viewable in the app.
Items that can be linked:
Steps, weight, body fat percentage, waist circumference, height, blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, blood glucose level, and sleep duration.
